Defining our menu options
What is Macrobiotic?
Cooking in harmony with nature. A system of holistic principles and dynamic practices that guides choices in nutrition, activity, and lifestyle for physical, emotional, mental, social, and environmental health. Based on ideas about types of food drawn from Zen Buddhism, this style of eating balances the yin and yang elements of food and cookware. Major principles of macrobiotic diets are to reduce animal products, eat locally grown foods that are in season, and consume meals in moderation.

Why choose our vegan and vegetarian?
Good food is a celebration of life, and some believe that in celebrating life, we should not be killing.
It starts with our selection of ingredients - choosing only high-quality foods that enhance overall well-being. More and more foods are being processed, becoming the products of factories rather than farms, diminishing the nutritional value of our food. Even "healthy, organic" foods can be processed. It is our promise to limit ALL processed foods, including sugar, gluten, soy, and corn products, to serve and protect our community, leading to a longer, fuller life. We can choose satisfaction and feel a peaceful unity with all of life
An homage to cultural, clean cuisine that values the importance of gathering in community - it is not just the food you eat, it is the environment in which you eat it and the preparation behind it.
